Account & Subscription
Account Details & Subscription Updates
Account creation, adding devices, and refreshing a configuration each involve different steps.
Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I store my login details?
No email address is required to create an account—just choose a username and password. Save them in a trusted password manager, then check that you can sign in to the user panel. Don’t save your subscription link as a login credential or publicly share screenshots of your account page. If you have trouble signing in later, check your keyboard input, capitalization, and any spaces copied along with your details. If you still can’t log in, seek help through an available user panel entry point and explain which step caused the problem. Don’t include your password or full subscription link in your message. Whether an account can be recovered, and what verification may be needed, depends on the outcome of the review.
Do I need to choose a different plan when I switch computers or add a device?
There’s no limit on the number of devices that can be connected at the same time, so you don’t need to change plans just because you’re switching or adding a device. VPNFK supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. On your new device, open the client download section in the user panel and follow the instructions for that platform to get the client and subscription configuration. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data, so keep an eye on your plan’s data allowance when using multiple devices. When you stop using an old device, remove its saved subscription configuration so it won’t retain access credentials if you pass it on. If you’re only changing operating systems, check your subscription status first, then import the configuration and test the connection.
How do I update the subscription link in my client? Should I delete the old configuration?
Sign in to the user panel and check that your subscription is active. Then return to your client’s subscription or configuration settings, find the relevant configuration, and use its update option. Updating a subscription usually fetches the route list again; it’s different from switching your current route. Switching routes alone won’t refresh an outdated list. If the update fails, check your local network and the client’s error message, then confirm the import source in the panel. Don’t delete a configuration that still works—you may need it as a reference while troubleshooting. If the panel says the original link has changed, reimport the configuration currently provided there and remove the obsolete entry. Your full subscription link is an access credential; don’t post it in public forums.
Where can I check my data usage and subscription status? What should I do if the details don’t match?
Use the user panel as the main reference for your plan, data usage, and subscription status. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the date you activated the plan, not on the first day of the calendar month. Data packages don’t expire and remain available until used. A client’s data indicator may be based on previously fetched subscription information. If the figures differ, refresh the panel, update the subscription in your client, and check that you imported the configuration for the same account. If they still don’t match, note the panel status, the client’s display, and what you did before the issue appeared, then explain the discrepancy in a support ticket. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your username, subscription link, and other access credentials. Don’t assume your plan has expired based only on cached client data.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Connection Checks & App Routing
Check your basic network, client status, app settings, and platform requirements separately.
My client says it’s connected, but webpages won’t load. Where should I start troubleshooting?
Pause the proxy first and check whether your local network can open websites you can usually access. If your basic connection is also failing, troubleshoot your local network before anything else. Once it’s working, check your plan status and remaining data in the panel, update the client subscription, and select a route again. A connected status usually means the client has established some kind of connection; it doesn’t guarantee that a particular website will work. Test several sites to see whether all requests are failing or just one platform, and check for other proxy tools or network extensions running at the same time. If the problem persists, include the error message, device operating system, and selected region in a support ticket. This is more useful for troubleshooting than simply saying that pages won’t load.
Why does my browser work, but a particular app doesn’t use the proxy?
If your browser works but a particular app doesn’t, check whether the app follows the system proxy settings and whether the rules route its requests as expected. First check whether your client is in rule-based or global mode, then see if the app has its own network settings. Some apps, command-line tools, and plugins don’t automatically use the system proxy and need to be configured according to their own instructions. Whether the client can route their traffic also depends on the options shown in its interface. You can temporarily switch modes to compare results, but global mode doesn’t necessarily affect every app. Restart the app after changing settings and test again. For work devices, follow your organization’s network policies.
Can’t access ChatGPT or other AI tools—is it a route issue or an account issue?
First identify what’s happening: a failed connection, an error on the page, an account restriction, or interrupted streaming output. Each points to a different troubleshooting path. If regular webpages won’t load either, troubleshoot the network connection first. If only an AI tool shows a region or account message, check that service’s current requirements and your account status. VPNFK provides cross-border connectivity; it doesn’t replace a platform’s regional eligibility, account permissions, or payment requirements. During troubleshooting, try to keep the same exit region and avoid switching routes repeatedly while signing in. A working website doesn’t mean an API or IDE plugin is using the same proxy settings. When reporting the issue, include the error message only—never send account passwords, API keys, or session credentials.
Where can I get the client? What should I check after importing my subscription?
After signing in, open the client download section in the user panel for instructions for your platform. Subscription access requires a login; the panel shows which downloads and entry points are available to you. VPNFK supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Installation packages aren’t linked directly from marketing pages. After installing the client and importing your subscription, check that it has loaded the route list. Select a route, enable the proxy mode you need, then test a website or app you actually plan to use. Seeing a configuration name alone doesn’t mean app traffic is going through the proxy. If your system asks for permission to configure network settings, make sure the request comes from the client you just installed. If anything looks unusual, pause, keep a record of the prompt, and follow the relevant guide.
Speed & Routes
Route Selection & Peak-Time Troubleshooting
Compare performance for your actual needs; a successful connection doesn’t mean every service will work.
Things slow down during peak hours. How can I tell whether to switch routes or check my local network?
Keep the target app the same and compare your local network with the proxy paused. Rule out weak Wi-Fi, background downloads, or other devices using the connection. Next, try another available route in the same region and see whether webpages load, videos buffer less, or tasks complete more quickly. Compare other regions if needed. Change just one thing at a time so you can tell what made a difference. If routes in several regions perform similarly, check your local connection and the target platform instead of switching routes repeatedly. Video quality, gaming packet loss, and file downloads place different demands on a network. Test the route with the things you actually do; a single result from a speed test doesn’t show that it’s suitable for every use.
Which regions are covered? Is choosing the nearest route enough?
VPNFK covers 90+ countries / 250+ routes. The current options are listed in the user panel and client. First check which regions the service you want to use allows, then compare actual connection performance. Distance is only one factor: routing between networks, your local provider, and the target service’s location can all affect performance. AI tools and work services may be more reliable when you keep a relatively consistent exit region. For streaming, the platform may also consider your account region and the region where content is licensed. A country name or route type alone doesn’t guarantee access. If a route doesn’t suit your needs, compare alternatives that meet the service’s regional requirements and keep a working configuration as a reference.
Should I use rule-based mode or global mode? Do I need to reimport my subscription after switching?
Rule-based mode routes requests according to the rules in your current configuration. It’s useful when you want local and cross-border services handled differently. Global mode generally sends requests the client can intercept through the selected proxy, making it useful for a temporary comparison while troubleshooting. The exact behavior depends on the client and its configuration, so the mode name alone can’t tell you where all traffic goes. Switching modes is different from updating a subscription; you usually don’t need to reimport it just to change modes. After switching, reopen the target app and test it. Pay particular attention to work software, local network resources, and sign-in sessions. If an app still doesn’t use the proxy, check its own network settings instead of repeatedly deleting the configuration.
A video platform shows a regional restriction, or high-quality video keeps buffering. What can I do?
Troubleshoot regional restrictions separately from buffering. A region message may relate to your exit region, how the platform classifies your IP address, your account’s region, or content licensing. A working connection doesn’t guarantee that all content on a platform will be available. Check the region requirements for the content, make sure your selected exit region suits your needs, then reopen the platform after switching routes. If the page loads but keeps buffering, check your local connection, background traffic, and playback on other routes. You can also temporarily lower the video quality to compare. One successful playback doesn’t guarantee ongoing access. When troubleshooting, note the specific message and content page; don’t share your platform account details or subscription credentials publicly.
Billing & Refunds
Plan Billing & Refund Requests
Monthly plans and data packages follow different data rules. Check the product name before checkout.
What do monthly plans cost? When does data reset, and how does a mid-cycle upgrade work?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB, with no device limit. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Consider your typical usage before choosing a plan: streaming video, syncing files, and downloading development resources can all use data continuously. Don’t base your choice on device count alone. Before upgrading, check your current status, the target plan, and the billing details shown in the user panel. Don’t assume the price difference means extra data or a fixed extension to your plan. If the panel information is unclear, keep the relevant order details and check with support before submitting another order.
What’s the difference between a data package and a monthly plan? Do data packages expire?
Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Prices are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date. The key difference is how you use the data: consider whether you need it continuously or mainly during trips or short-term projects. “Never expires” describes the data package’s validity; it doesn’t mean unlimited data, and it doesn’t mean monthly plans follow the same rules. If you already have another plan, check the information in the panel before switching. Don’t assume that different products can be combined or that data will be deducted in a particular order. Before paying, confirm the product name and data allowance. If anything is unclear, check with support first.
Which payment methods are supported? What should I do if I’ve paid but the panel hasn’t updated?
Alipay / WeChat / USDT are supported. Start your payment from the order page in the user panel and follow the checkout instructions. After paying, return to the order page to check its status, then check the plan details in your account. Don’t assume activation is complete just because you closed the payment page. If the payment service shows that payment is complete but the panel hasn’t updated, refresh the order page and make sure you’re checking the same order and account. Don’t pay again. Then open a support ticket with the order reference, a screenshot of the payment result, and a description of the issue. Hide any unnecessary personal information in screenshots. For USDT payments, carefully check the network, recipient details, and amount shown at checkout. This page doesn’t provide a fixed wallet address; don’t use an address forwarded by someone else.
What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?
VPNFK offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel, open the support ticket section, and state clearly that you’re requesting a refund. Include the order reference and payment method so the team can verify it. For full eligibility details and handling information, read the refund policy and Terms of Service. If you’re also having connection issues, you can describe them in the same ticket, but a troubleshooting report isn’t a substitute for a refund request. Add any requested information to the same ticket rather than splitting it across unrelated conversations. Don’t send your account password, full subscription link, or payment account login credentials. Check the ticket response and your payment records for the status; this page doesn’t promise a specific arrival time or processing period for any payment method.
